We love Highland Coos and Hairy Coos!

Hello again. So, here's the thing. Everyone seems to love Highland Cows or Coos as they are known in Scotland. I'm no exception. They're big and hairy and sort of gentle looking. The calves have an adorable cuddly bear look. Up here they are also known as Hairy Coos (for obvious reasons 😉 ) The times Graham has had to pull over so I can leap from the car to photograph a Coo or two! I love seeing them in herds looking slightly dis-shevelled and of course looking all spruced up at an agricultural show. There's a herd near us that I regularly say hello to, over at Sandend. They stand windswept on the brow of the hill overlooking the bay. In the spring they are framed by daffodils along the path, very photogenic!

So having moved to Scotland and really embraced my love of the Highland Coo, finding a place for one or more item round the home, it was obvious to us that the Scottish retail trade thrives on Coos! As it turned out our very first design became our logo and a very popular picture as well. We are working on another design right now that we hope to launch in January. We supply loads of these pictures and also the Location Bauble, to retail traders in Scotland. The Highland Coo design is also available to hotel chains when they are looking to refurb, as are the thistle and stag version. We would be so proud to supply a hotel with pictures for their guest rooms. They’re eco friendly, beautifully put together and can be adapted to suit the needs of the client. Maybe one day....

Anyway, do check out our Scottish Pictures on our website and follow us on social media. You'll find us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Thanks guys! 😊

Best Wishes, Rachel
