It’s important to us that our
customers know our products are all Made in Scotland. With the exception of our
frames that are British made anyway, our products are designed, manufactured
and finished in rural Aberdeenshire. In fact our office is located in a
renovated farm steading dating back over a hundred years. We have stunning
views of the countryside and enjoy the nature that is abundant in this area.
Deer, foxes and badgers are all regulars here, so you see, nature really does
inspire our products. Of course the tartan we use is woven in Scotland, some
designs actually woven in nearby Keith. We want the end consumer to know what
they are buying is a genuine Scottish gift, genuinely Made in Scotland. To this
end we always attach a tag stating Handcrafted in Scotland. People like to ‘Buy
Local’ and support small businesses. We are proud our products are Made in
Scotland.

Eco-Friendly
When we were looking for a good
quality frame for our pictures we were delighted to source an eco friendly
product made in Britain. The white frame used for our pictures is made from
recycled polystyrene. It’s wonderful to be able to offer an eco friendly
product that looks great. It has a clean smooth finish, offering the
contemporary feel we were looking for. Because of its construction it is also
light, which is great for travel or delivery by post. Our engraving wood is FSC
registered. We love doing business with companies who have established eco ethics. Even as a small company we do our best to be eco friendly, responsible
with sourcing and disposal of waste materials. Packaging is a necessary evil
but wherever possible we do what we can. We always recycle boxes and use
product wrapping as packaging.
Until the next time….
Best Wishes, Rachel
